Mike Gordon played Madison Theater on Saturday November 20th in support of his new album Moss

Mike Gordon last visited Cincinnati in Sept of 2009 and played the 20th Century Theater in Oakley.  Green Sparrow was the name of the album Mike had put out last year.  It’s 2010 now and Mike recently released the band’s second album titled Moss.  On this visit to the area, Mike would make his first venture across the Ohio river into Covington to play the Madison Theater.  Mike, once on-stage,  admitted that whenever he comes to town people ask him if he’s ever been across the river to Kentucky.  He stated to the crowd that he hadn’t ever been on the Kentucky side till tonight.  His first trip to the Kentucky side of Cincinnati would prove to be a memorable one.  A rowdy saturday night crowd would enjoy a full two sets of Mike and his band’s musical explorations.  The Noble Visions offers a look into a Mike Gordon performance.
