The guitarists from moe. performed acoustic as DiSGRACe at the Southgate House on Nov 9th

Al Schnier, Rob Derhak, and Chuck Garvey are well-known as the impressive guitarists from the band moe.  On November 9th, these three musicians started off a nine show tour, on what they originally called  “a week in a car with their acoustic guitars”.  DiSGRACe is the name these three long time musicians and friends decided to take on for this musical adventure.  The trio is playing a variety of cities during their two weeks on the road.  Chuck Garvey calls Cincinnati home during part of the year, and the start of DiSGRACe’s nine show run commenced right across the river at the Southgate House in Newport, Ky.  The band has played in this format three times before back in 2005, but the three musicians have never developed a proper name or tour.  During those three shows the setlists featured a wide spectrum of moe. staples played all acoustically.  Nobody really knew what to expect when these three musicians took the stage for their first DiSGRACe show at the Southgate House on November 9th. The men of DiSGRACe delivered an incredible night of moe. staples, a new tune, and a few covers.  We offer a look into the DiSGRACe tour opener.
