The legendary reggae band Steel Pulse brought their infectious stylistic grooves to Cincinnati on May 26th.
If you are a music fan having lived in Cincinnati for any amount of time, then you’ve heard about or have been to a concert at Annie’s on the East Side of Cincinnati. Well Annie’s is no more, and has been renamed Inner Circle Entertainment Complex. Since the renaming and reopening of the venue, there has yet to be concert that could resurrect the excitement that once existed in seeing a show at the former Annie’s. Well that all changed this past May 26th when UK-based international reggae recording artist Steel Pulse took the stage. Steel Pulse has been delivering their unique reggae stylings to fans since their debut LP in 1975. Over the 35 year career of Steel Pulse, the band has gone through many members, but the driving force behind Steel Pulse’s writing is David Hinds. Hinds is still the heartbeat of the band and the energy he displays on stage is that of a man playing his very first gig. Always full of energy and positive messages, Steel Pulse delivered a solid two hours of incredible reggae.
